SurveyMethods provides two built-in survey width options: Wide (1024px) and Narrow (780px). The default setting is Wide, but you can change the setting from within the Survey Design menu by clicking the dropdown on the top left of the page, just below the buttons to edit title or logo, or spell check your survey:
